HILTON METHODIST CHURCH SERVICES 5th November at 10am. Rev Rachel Larkinson. The Knitted Bible will be on display during the service and also in the afternoon. Refreshments will be served as well. 12th November at 10.45am Remembrance Day service starting at the lych gate . We have Rev Rachel Larkinson preaching 19th November at 10am Mrs Barbara Spencer 26th November at 10am Rev Heather Walker FAIRTRADE COFFEE MORNING Our monthly coffee morning will be on Saturday 4th November from 10am until 12 noon. All the usual FAIRTRADE groceries and crafts will be on sale . Also coffee and tea and biscuits. Profits go to EACH and FAIRTRADE. Also the church will be open to see the Knitted bible display. ADVENT LUNCHES Our Advent charity lunches start on 22nd November. This year the money will be going to the Acorn Cancer Support Group, a local charity. The lunches are any time from 12.30 until 2pm. The lunches are a simple bread/ crackers, cheese and pickles and fruit, plus tea or coffee. Suggested donation of £5 plus for the lunch. Venues as follows: Wednesday 22nd November. October 8th at 11.15am United Harvest Festival with Rev Rachel Larkinson.During the service we will be accepting donations of tins and packets of food for the local foodbank. Also the collection will be for Wateraid. Following this service there will be a " Bring and Share" lunch in the church hall. All are welcome.

Our next coffee morning will be on Saturday 7th October from 10am until noon. Stay for as long or as short a time as you wish. There will be the usual Fairtrade groceries,gifts and cards for sale. Tea and coffee and biscuits available for only £1 and profits are for Fairtrade and EACH. All are welcome, give us a try!
Sunday services are held in the Chapel at 10 a.m. The morning service on the second Sunday of the month is a united Holy Communion service and alternates between the Chapel and the Parish Church, with whom there are close ties. A children's Sunday Club takes place in the Sunday school hall during these united services; however, children are welcome at all services. THE KNITTED BIBLE
The “Knitted Bible” is coming to Hilton.
The exhibition of Knitted scenes from the bible is on loan from St George's United Reformed Church, Hartlepool where it was created. It has been travelling around the UK since 2008 and has been so popular that it is booked up until well into 2018. This is an unique opportunity to see a fantastic work of art. Come and see the "Knitted Bible" locally at Hilton Methodist Church (PE28 9NG) Entrance is free but donations are most welcome. All visitors to the display will receive a free gift as they exit and all children will be given a free quiz booklet. Light refreshments will be available in the church hall right next door. The times of the display are as follows: Saturday 4th November from 10am until 12 midday Saturday 4th November from 2pm until 4pm Sunday 5th November at morning service at 10am and after the service Sunday 5th November from 2pm until 4pm
