The Fireworks start at 7.00pm (prompt!) Entry for adults is £3.00 and £1.00 for children. Please see village notice boards for additional information and in the interests of safety, you are requested not to park along Wraggs Row.
HILTON FEAST WEEK. Nov 2015 update The Feast week committee have made it our priority to plan the Feast week fundraising events for the forthcoming year to encourage villagers to attend so pop them in your diaries now. We look forward to seeing you there! Feast week, as you know, costs a great deal of money to run and is entirely dependent on the money we raise throughout the year at our fund raising events. The attendances at this year’s events was lower than normal, and as a result we started Feast Week’s free entertainment with a shortfall. We as a committee are concerned that should this pattern continue, we will not be able to guarantee that Feast Week will continue in the format we all have come to expect and enjoy. Feast week is for the village and has been running for over 30 years, so we thought by giving a list of dates in advance you can plan your social calendar!. We will endeavour to put events on for the whole community to encourage you to come along, enjoy the entertainment and help raise the much needed funds for next year’s Feast Week. We hope to go ahead with all these events below but maybe subject to change ,so please check the website too; 31st October 2015 – 6 pm onwards –Parish Council Hilton Fireworks night – F.W will have food and drinks available to purchase in the Wilderness. 5 th December 2015- Quiz and curry night. 7.30pm. 13 th December 2015 – Children’s Christmas Party.( 12-4pm) 30th January 2016 –Burns night with Haggis supper. 7.30pm 5 th March 2016 - Quiz night with supper 7.30pm 26 th March 2016 - Easter Egg Hunt . 23rd April 2016 - Murder Mystery night 7.30pm. 4 th June 2016 - Race night 7.30 pm. 22nd July 2016 – Hilton Summer Ball – Black tie. 7.00pm. 24 th July 2016 – Feast week starts with Produce show and parade of floats day. We as a village are so lucky to have such a great events for everyone to enjoy.

Feast week, as you know, costs a great deal of money to run and is entirely dependent on the money we raise throughout the year at our fund raising events. Unfortunately the support been lower than normal so far, resulting in us cancelling the first quiz night planned in December, and then sadly we made a loss at the children’s Christmas party with only 15 attending! Thank-you to Santa who did a wonderful job for those children who were there! We as a committee are concerned that should this pattern continue, we will not be able to guarantee that Feast Week will continue in the format we all have come to expect and enjoy, which includes the Produce show, the Art show, and sports day. Feast week is for everyone in the village and has been running for over 30 years, so we thought by giving a list of dates in advance you can plan your social calendar!
