A review of the 2020 rainfall record for Hilton
Gillian Sheail, our local Rainfall Observer for the Meteorological Office and Environment Agency, measures the daily rainfall in Hilton. 2020 was a year of both dry and wet spells, culminating in the floods of Christmas Eve and she has written an excellent article which would have been in Spectrum if it was being published.
