I work as a Clinical Project Manager on multinational clinical trials in oncology as well as being a mum to two young children. We have lived in the village for about 5 years and always felt the great sense of community here.

I have no specific agenda in wanting to join the Parish Council but hope I might represent other young families, helping to maintain our beautiful village whilst ensuring it meets the needs of villagers now and for future generations.

altRob COLLARD

As both my Wife and I grew up in the village and spent most of my years living in or regularly visiting, I have a strong deep routed connection with Hilton. Today there are 3 generations of my Family living in the village, so I believe I have good experience and knowledge of what the village has to offer and the gaps that still need to be filled to ensure a diverse range of people can continue to enjoy our beautiful village.

I believe in planning and thinking to the future to ensure Hilton can continue to offer people what it has to me and my family in the future, whilst retaining the character and open spaces that make it the place it is today.

I believe the parish council is appointed to actively represent the parishioners, operating with trust, soundness of thinking, openness and fair judgement.

I wish to see a longer term perspective introduced that acknowledges what is happening in the Combined Authority, County and District Councils.

I want the parish council to engage more actively with these bodies & neighbouring parishes to get things done.

Like you I want Hilton to remain attractive, beautiful and rural  while also serving the needs, now and future, of we who live here.

I have lived in the village for 14 years, and have been active on the Feast week committee for the last 12 years latterly being Chairman for several years until 2016. I work full time as a community Midwife team leader so I have a lot of local knowledge and experience with family life.
I have a great passion for bringing the community together by involving all ages in various village events. I became a Parish councillor to help maintain and preserve the uniqueness of our village. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful rural village, and I will strive to meet the needs of the parishioners  through the Parish council.

I’ve lived in the village for over 40 years and that gives me quite a bit of back ground knowledge regarding Hilton affairs.

Now that I’m more or less retired from a lifetime of publishing nautical books and charts I have time to be involved in parish matters.

I’m particularly interested in conserving the village’s open spaces so that their traditionally rural character is maintained.
