On Sunday 14th July the Village will be holding an OPEN GARDENS event from 14.00 hrs. - 18.00 hrs. in order to raise funds for 3 local charities namely:  Hilton Village Hall, The Village Produce Show and MacMillan Cancer Care.  Entry and Map are available at the Village Hall before you begin, and there is a suggested donation of £3.00.

During the afternoon CREAM TEAS will be available in the Hall, The Produce Show Committee will have a STALL selling lots of 'goodies' and, from 15.00 hours, Bruce and Jan Whatley have very kindly offered to open their wonderful garden so children (and big kids) can take a ride on the TRAIN.

On your wanderings you will also be able visit the garden of Angela Potter, our very own Chelsea Garden Show medal winner and, in her Orangerie (see your map) local artists group, 'The Carnelians' will be holding a show.

Their artistic display will include compositions using experimental techniques including print-making, inks and pastels giving an innovative approach to freedom of expression, and show the wonderful flora and fauna which abound.
HOG ROAST - Saturday 20th July at the Hall.  Along with the tasty 'hog' we will be serving an assortment of freshly-made salads and, afterwards, our famous delicious home-made puds!  During the evening, apart from the bar and raffle, we will be entertained by the group 'Parisian Swing', so a good time should be had by all. Tickets £12.50
