FENSTANTON BOWLS CLUB

 Just outside Hilton (off Hilton Road, Fenstanton, south of the A14) is Fenstanton Bowls Club. Founded in 1938, the Bowls Club was a 1956 founder member of the Huntingdonshire Bowling Federation. We have a five rink bowling green, and with the help of a grant from Hilton Town Trust, are currently working on extending the green and improving the club house facilities.

The Bowls Club has teams in both the Men and Ladies Huntingdonshire Leagues, the Millicent Childs Over 60’s mixed League, and the Cambridge and District mixed Bowls League, as well as weekend friendlies with local teams.

If you have played bowls before, we would love to see you. However, if you have not played before and would like to have a go, we can definitely help. Whilst there is usually someone at the green most evenings and weekends, this can not always be guaranteed as we may be playing in an away game. If you contact either of the below we can arrange the loan of a set of bowls, a convenient time to introduce you to the game, and all that we ask is that you have flat shoes.  You may get hooked!
